Turtle Delight Bars


1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/3 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 cup caramel sauce

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup heavy cream


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, melted butter, sugar, and salt until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped pecans over the crust.

Warm the caramel sauce and pour it over the pecans. Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips with heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the caramel layer.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set. Cut into squares and serve.
