- 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 and 1/2 cups milk
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Gummy worms, for garnish (optional)

1️⃣ Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Set aside.
2️⃣ In a mixing bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth. Set aside to thicken.
3️⃣ In a separate mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
4️⃣ Fold in the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
5️⃣ Layer a third of the crushed Oreo cookies in the bottom of a trifle dish or serving bowl.
6️⃣ Spread a third of the cream cheese mixture over the cookie layer.
7️⃣ Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of cream cheese mixture on top.
8️⃣ Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreo cookies over the top layer, creating a "dirt" effect.
9️⃣ If desired, garnish with gummy worms for a fun touch.
