Cinnamon Roll Waffles



Cinnamon Roll Waffles 


 Ingredients List:

 1 3/4 cups flour

 2 Tablespoons sugar

 1 teaspoon baking powder

 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

 1/4 teaspoon salt

 2 eggs

 2 cups buttermilk

 1/4 cup oil

 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

 Cinnamon Topping:

 1/2 cup butter (melted)

 3/4 cup brown sugar

 1 Tablespoon cinnamon

 Cream Cheese Topping:

 4 Tablespoons butter (softened)

 2 ounces cream cheese (softened)

 3/4 cup powdered sugar

 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

 Instructions:

 In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and stir until moistened. 

 Preheat a waffle iron and spray with nonstick spray. Pour batter into the iron, bake until done, and remove with a fork. Repeat with remaining batter. 

 For the cinnamon topping, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Scoop into a small zip baggie. 

 For the cream cheese topping, microwave butter and cream cheese until just melted. Stir until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla. 

 Serve waffles with drizzled cinnamon topping and cream cheese frosting. 

 Notes:

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and butter substitutes.

Serve with fresh fruits like berries or banana slices for an extra flavor boost!
