Apple Spice Cake with Caramel

Fall is here and it's the perfect time for baking! This Apple Spice Cake with Caramel Icing is a delicious treat that's perfect for the season. 2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

2 cups chopped apples (about 2 medium apples)

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt


1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

2️⃣ In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

3️⃣ In a large bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
