My father-in-law requests this every time he comes over. Needless to say, he never gets sick of it

Ingredients:

1.5 pounds sliced kielbasa or smoked sausage

Two 15-ounce cans green beans, well-drained

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, cleaned and halved

1 cup chopped onions

1/8 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup butter

3 cloves minced garlic

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

Optional: 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a 9x13 casserole dish.

Wash and halve the creamer potatoes. Put them in a sealable gallon-sized bag. Add oil, Slap Ya Mama seasoning (if using), garlic powder, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Shake well to coat.

In a skillet, heat oil. Cook sausage until browned, then set aside to cool. Add to the bag.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Sauté onions and garlic until soft and aromatic. Cool and add to the bag.

Add green beans to the bag.

Pour the contents of the bag into the casserole dish. Cover with foil and bake for about 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

Serve and savor this delightful Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole. This recipe serves 4-6 people and can be adjusted to accommodate different portion sizes.
