Apple Pie Lasagna

Apple Pie Lasagna

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 cups sweetened whipped cream

1 cup caramel sauce

3 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form the first layer. Place in the fridge to set.

Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook in a saucepan over medium heat until apples are just tender, about 5-7 minutes. Let cool.

In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in half of the whipped cream.

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crumb layer in the dish. Layer the cooked apple mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.

Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples, then add the remaining whipped cream, spreading evenly.

Top with the remaining graham cracker crumb mixture. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set.
