STRAWBERRY PAVÉ 🔥Recipe👇👇

Ingredients:


1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

8 oz mascarpone cheese or cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 pack ladyfinger biscuits or sponge cake slices

1/2 cup orange juice or strawberry syrup

Optional garnishes: mint leaves, chocolate shavings

Directions:


Prepare Strawberry Layer: Reserve a few strawberries for garnish. Take the remaining strawberries and blend them into a purée using a blender or food processor.


Prepare Cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until it forms soft peaks. In another bowl, beat the mascarpone or cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.


Assemble the Pavé: In a rectangular dish or a loaf tin, lay down a layer of ladyfingers or sponge cake slices. Brush them with orange juice or strawberry syrup. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits, followed by a layer of strawberry purée. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cream layer on top.


Chill: Cover the pavé with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.


Serve: When ready to serve, invert the pavé onto a serving plate. Garnish with the reserved strawberries, mint leaves, and chocolate shavings, if desired.
